Iraqi transport minister arrives in Damascus

Iraqi Minister of Transport and Communications Ahmad Murtada Ahmad and members of his accompanying delegation arrived in Damascus on Sunday evening for a five-day visit to Syria.
In a statement to a SANA correspondent, the Iraqi minister said: "We will hold talks with our brothers in Damascus on all forms of cooperation in the areas of road, sea and railway transport."
He added that transport sector is very important because it contributes to total general and private activities and, "We are seeking through this visit as two brotherly countries to revitalize the bilateral relations."
