Israel to withdraw from Lebanon within one year

Israeli reserve Maj. Moshe Beleid, the former official responsible for the military activities in South Lebanon, as a military commander for the northern area said that the "Israeli army can evacuate South Lebanon within one year. Beleid who took part in the election campaign for Barak said in an interview with the Israeli army radio today that "withdrawing our soldiers from Lebanon can be made as pledged by the elected prime Minister Ehud Barak."
