Kuwait refuses to take part in the Arab sport tournament

Kuwait has reiterated its rejection to take part in the 9th Arab sport games which Jordan will host on June 12 through 31.
The secretary general of the Kuwaiti Olympic committee Obeid al-Anzi asserted to the Kuwaiti news agency today that the Kuwaiti sport movement boycotts this Arab tournament because Iraq is taking part in it.
He added that any athlete in Kuwait will not take part in the said games with the presence of any Iraqi athlete and with any sport of Iraqi participation in the games even if such a participation is symbolic.
