Al-Hoss heads to Kuwait and meets with Kuwait's emir

Lebanese Prime Minister Salim al-Hoss arrived in Kuwait today at the invitation of Kuwaiti Crown Prince Sheikh Saad al-Abdullah al-Sabah in a visit during which he will meet with Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Jabir al-Ahmad al-Sabah.
The Kuwaiti news agency said today that, "Discussions between the two sides will tackle topics of joint concern between the two countries."
Kuwaiti sources said the emir of Kuwait will inform the Lebanese prime minister about Iraq's refusal to release the Kuwaiti captives inside the Iraqi prisons.
Sources added, "The Lebanese prime minister will ask for the emir of Kuwait support in the Israeli - Lebanese conflict and the daily violations of the Lebanese south."
