Agreements signed between Iran and Qatar

Iranian President Mohammad Khatami left Qatar, concluding his tour of three Arab countries after holding talks with the Emir of Qatar and the ruling family that tackled supporting bilateral relations and the most important issues in the bilateral arena.
Eight agreements were signed on encouraging investment, economic relations and establishing a joint business council.
Also the attachment of labor agreement was signed which calls for exchanging experience and guaranteeing laborers' rights.
Agreements for combating drugs and cooperation in the fields of youths and sports tourism and information as well as establishing the Iranian commercial center in Doha were also discussed.
