King Abdullah confers with US Parliament chief

King Abdullah of Jordan on Wednesday in Washington met with the speaker of the US House of Representatives J. Dennis Hastert, heads of the committee at the council and its leaders which represent the two main parties in the US. The Jordanian King also met with Benjamin Gilman, chairman of the House International Relations Committee and the chairman and members of the US foreign aid committee.
Talks during these meetings dealt with Jordanian-US relations on all levels and means of strengthening and consolidating these relations as well as the US aid to Jordan on all levels.
