French economic delegation visits Saudi Arabia

A French economic delegation that companies representatives of ten French companies specializing in the electronics industry, ceramics and food products will head to the Saudi capital, Riyadh, on June 4.

A press statement issued by the commercial bureau in the French embassy in Cairo said, "The delegation will discuss with the Saudi officials increasing the volume of economic and commercial ties between the two countries."

The statement added, "The French delegation's visit comes within the plan of the French government to search for new markets for its products away from the traditional markets of France."

This plan started in the exhibition of the French exports at the beginning of current month named "Expo France 99."
