Annual meetings for the African Development Bank in Cairo

The annual meetings of the African Development Bank are to start on Saturday in Cairo and last until May 27. The meetings will discuss supporting social and economic development in Africa.
Egypt will present in the meetings the feasibility study regarding the project of establishing a maritime line which would link Egypt with the group of COMESA (Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa) countries, to be implemented by the Egyptian private sector to start from Alexandria harbor, reaching to South Africa and passing through the countries on Africa's eastern coast, which contributes to increasing the volume of bilateral trade between the group's countries and the continent.
Numerous officials and economic experts will participate in these meeting among whom are ministers of economy, finance countries in addition to representatives of the countries members in the bank from outside Africa.
