Kuwait, Arab League sign memorandum of understanding

A memorandum of understanding was signed between the information and documentation center at the Arab League and the Kuwaiti Ministry of Justice. The memorandum aims at strengthening and promoting cooperation between the two sides in the areas of judicial and legal information and realizing the best use of human and material potentials as well as expertise available in each side.

The agreement was signed by Kuwaiti Minister of Justice Mashari Sayed al-Matiri and the AL center's director, Saud Abdul Aziz Zubeidi.

In a statement following the meeting, al-Mateiri said the memorandum is an important step towards strengthening Arab cooperation in the area of legal information. He called for setting up a national Arab network for legal informatics.
