Palestinian official: Proclaimation of statehood coming on November 15

A Palestinian official announced that the proclaimation of the independent Palestinian state would take place on November 15. The Algerian Khabar newspaper quoted yesterday the official (who spoke on condition of anonymity) as saying that the specification of this date coincides with the proclaimation that took place in Algeria more than 10 years ago when Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat announced the establishment of the state during the meeting of the Palestinian National Council in 1988.
