Rulers' summit in Cairo on next Sunday

With an invitation from Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, Cairo is to host the 17th summit for the InterAction Council, which comprises in its membership former heads of countries and governments from different work fields, known as the council of world rulers, which will start on Sunday and last for three days.
Former US President Jimmy Carter, Former Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev, former French President Valery Giscard d'Estaing, former German Chancellor Helmut Schmidt, former Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew, and former Canadian Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau will participate in this session.
Those gathered will discuss the world's current issues topped by the international financial crisis, the peace process in Middle East and the breaking situation in the Balkans.
President Mubarak will deliver an address in which he will outline Egypt's perception of the international and regional situations.
