Israel continues aggressions against south Lebanon

Israeli jet fighters on Monday launched a series of attacks on several areas in south Lebanon. Lebanese security sources said the Israeli jets attacked the "great mountain," located in the woods of Siddiqin town, Burket Qis, northeast Zibqin town and the outskirts of the al-Butoum and al-Shiteyah.

The Lebanese sources said that six Israeli attacks were launched in which air-to-surface missiles were fired against the Lebanese targets. In retaliation, later in the day, a statement by the Lebanese resistance said that resistance forces attacked two Israeli and Israeli-allied militia positions in the Sujoud and Sweida areas.

The statement added that the Lebanese resistance forces observed joint military movements inside the two positions and then attacked them, using missiles and mortar guns. The statement continued that the two positions were directly hit, and some parts of their detachments were destroyed.

Earlier, two groups of fighters rocketed and machine-gunned the Hadatha and Beit Yahoun positions inside the occupied part of south Lebanon, according to another statement released by the Lebanese resistance.
