Mubarak to visit Syria in June

The Egyptian daily al-Osbo quoted Egyptian diplomatic sources as saying that Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak will hold a visit to Damascus at the beginning of next month to discuss a joint Arab strategy to move towards the peace process following the Israeli elections.
The paper said that Cairo will propose important ideas aiming at restoring full coordination among Arab states concerned with the Middle East peace process as well as the final evaluation for the Syrian mediation between Cairo and Tehran.
