The Syrian-Iraqi oil pipeline

The Jordanian weekly al-Hadath on Monday quoted diplomatic sources as saying that the Syrian leadership has postponed the reopening and operation the Syrian-Iraqi oil pipeline for an indefinite time after the UN sanctions committee refused to give its prior consent to reopen this line.
The sources added that the Syrian government announced its desire to honor the implementation of the UN Security Council resolutions concerning Iraq.
