Iranian president confers with Bashar al-Assad in Damascus

Bashar al-Assad on Saturday visited Iranian President Muhammad Khatami at his residence at al- Chaab Syrian presidential palace in Damascus. No information was disclosed on the content of talks held between the two sides.
