600 economic experts to convene in Cairo

Cairo will host in March 2000 the biggest regional economic forum, comprising businessmen, decision-makers, thinkers and academics. 600 leaders in the business sectors, governments, legislative organizations, university professors and non-governmental organizations in the Middle East and North Africa will participate.
This forum, the third of its sort which is held in the area after an event in Morocco during 1997 then Doha in 1998 aims at establishing a regional economical bloc and getting acquainted with trends, challenges and the available chances for developing the area.
The forum will discuss a number of ideas related to the continuous development and seven topics that focus on world trade, regional blocs, economic reform, private companies, the right to industrial knowledge, continuous education, and financing the development and labor markets.
