Tear gas and bullets fired on hundreds of Palestinians

The Israeli occupied forces launched yesterday night tear gas and rubber-coated metal bullets against hundreds of Palestinian civilians who demonstrated in protest over Jewish settlement expansion near the city of Hebron in the West Bank.

The Palestinian sources confirmed that the clashes resulted in the injury of at least 14 Palestinians.

The sources said that the aim of these clashes is the attempt of Netanyahu's government to shore up his popularity before the elections on Monday.

The sources added that the Palestinian people will not be used as a toy in the hands of the Israelis to play with in the Israeli elections.
