Abdul Meguid to participate in second conference on Arab arbitration centers

Arab League Secretary General Esmat Abdul Meguid will arrive on Sunday in Beirut to participate in opening the second conference for Arab arbitration centers held from May 17 - 18 under the auspices of Lebanese Prime Minister Salim al-Hoss.
During his visit, Abdul Meguid will meet with high-ranking Lebanese officials to consult about the Arab position and its developments. He will also deliver a lecture under the title: "The Arab world and challenges of the 21st century."
Abdul Meguid told ArabicNews.com that he will meet during his visit with Lebanese President Emile Lahoud, with whom he will discuss the latest developments in south Lebanon and the continuous Israeli strikes in order to win votes by the extremists for the good of the current Israeli prime minister.
Abdul Meguid will also discuss with the Lebanese president the Arab support presented to the south in its steadfastness before the Israeli aggression as well as discussing the coordination of the Syrian - Lebanese tracks and Abdul Meguid's support for Lebanon on the importance of Israel's implementation of UN Security Council resolution N 425, which asks Israel to withdraw from south Lebanon without restrictions or conditions.
Meanwhile, the head of the Arab arbitration organization Dr. Abd El-Magid El-Ahdab, hailed in a press conference held this afternoon the role of the Arab League secretary general in supporting Arab arbitration centers and the effective contribution in the area of trade, finance, economy as well as men of economy in working on focusing the arbitration track in order to find approaching systems in the Arab arbitration.
