Spain to build hospital in Mauritania

The Spanish government has decided to build a new hospital in the economic capital of Mauritania, Nwadibo, at the cost of $7 million U.S..
Spanish news agency EFE said on Wednesday that Spanish ambassador in Mauritania, Fernando Aries, had signed an agreement with the Mauritanian minister of economy and development, Al-Sayid Al-Mokhtar Wald Naji.
The new hospital would include 120 beds and would officially open its doors in 2001.
This would be the second Spanish hospital in that city.
