1981 chemistry Nobel Prize holder in Morocco

The 1981 chemistry Nobel Prize holder, Roald Hoffman, is currently visiting Morocco to give a series of lectures and to discuss with Moroccan officials issues related to scientific research.
The US Nobel Prize winner held separate meetings with several Moroccan officials, including minister of higher education, staff training and scientific research and the secretary of state for scientific research.
Pr. Hoffman, who was briefed on Morocco's scientific research program, voiced readiness to closely cooperate with Moroccan university researchers.
Cooperation prospects between Moroccan and American universities and the possibility for Moroccan students to attend US universities were also discussed.
Pr. Hoffman is author of several chemistry books that are studied by Moroccan University students.
