King of Morocco meets speaker of Romanian parliament

King Hassan II of Morocco received Tuesday at the royal palace of Marrakesh speaker of the Romanian parliament, Ion Diaconesco.
The Romanian official -- who started on Sunday a five-day visit to Morocco -- conferred with several Moroccan officials, including the minister of higher education, executives training and scientific research and the minister in charge of the Maghreb and the Arab and Islamic world.
Diaconesco, who is accompanied by a delegation of law makers from various Romanian political parties, also met with speaker of the Moroccan chamber of advisors (upper chamber of the parliament), with the minister in charge of relations with the parliament and with first vice-speaker of the Moroccan house of representatives (lower chamber of the parliament).
