On releasing Jordanian prisoners in Syria

Chairman of the public freedom and citizens rights committees at the Jordanian Parliament, Muhammad al-Azeydah, told the Jordanian daily al-Majd that he has recently received authentic information that final preparations are already completed to release Jordanian detainees and prisoners held in Syrian jails.
In a statement to the paper al-Azedah commended the release of the Jordanian prisoners by the Syrian sides concerned. He added this new Syrian step came in the course of the positive results attained as a fruit of King Abdullah's visit to Syria.
He called for continued cooperation and coordination between Jordan and Syria in various security, political and economic fields.
