Ministerial meeting to partition Nile water

Ministers of water resources in the countries through which the Nile River passes meet today in Addis Ababa in order to negotiate technical aspects of dividing the waters of the river and hold technical consultations.
Besides Ethiopia, taking part in the meeting are Burundi, Congo, Egypt, Eritrea, Kenya, Rwanda, Sudan, Tanzania, and Uganda. The conference is held under the supervision of the World Bank.
