Hizbullah vows continued struggle against Israel
Lebanon, Politics, 5/10/1999
Deputy secretary general for the Hizbullah Party, Sheikh Naeem Qasem, has asserted that the Lebanese resistance is a resistance movement to liberate the land from Israeli occupation.
In a festival held in honor of the martyrs of Einata town, Sheikh Qasem said the Lebanese resistance is not "for political investment" in the Israeli elections. He said there is no difference between Netanyahu or Ehud Barak, saying, "Each competes with the other on how to usurp land in order to expand Israel."
He stressed that the Lebanese resistance will accept no conditions for the withdrawal of Israeli forces from Lebanon. He indicated the great losses inflicted by the Lebanese resistance on the pro-Israeli militias in the Jezzine district had caused deep concern in the Israeli army.
