20 countries to participate in Dubai Medicom conference for communications

The activities of Medicom conference for communications are to start on Tuesday. The two-day conference will be held in Dubai with the participation of 300 officials from 20 countries from the mail, telephone and Internet sectors and the companies working in this field whether inside or outside the Arab states.
The conference is held under the slogan "Getting into the Data society."
The conference's agenda includes many addresses by ministers of communications in the area, including those from Egypt, Lebanon, Pakistan, Iran, the United Arab Emirates and Sudan, in addition to the representative of the American Federal Communications Commission.
The conference will include six specialized sessions for discussing the developing communications in the Middle East.
