Ahmed Tibaoui, an Algerian economic delegate who took part in last month's meetings in Stuttgart, Germany on European - Mediterranean cooperation, said that the volume of direct foreign investment in Algeria outside the petroleum sector is $220 million US, Algerian News Agency reported. "Our growth potential vis-a-vis our brother countries and the European Union, notably Germany, is extremely wide," the report quoted him as saying.
