Jordanian journalists renew rejection of normalization
Jordan, Politics, 5/7/1999
The Jordanian Journalists' Union (JU) has reiterated its stand in rejecting normalization with Israel.
It stressed it will take tough measures against any Jordanian journalist who proceeds in normalization, in line with the decision taken by the anti-normalization committee of the Jordanian vocational trade unions council.
This was expressed in statements made by JU official Seif al-Sharif on Thursday in Amman. He indicated that the JU will maintain solidarity with any cause of freedom raised in Jordan and with the sit in tent to be established in front of the US embassy in Amman on the occasion of the Palestine Usurpation anniversary.
