Selling 60 governmental companies in Egypt

Egyptian Minister of Public Enterprises Atef Ebied stated that the current year will witness sales of shares and governmental companies worth nearly 4.5 billion pounds, 3 billion of which are to be given to the general treasury of the country.
Ebeid added that the "current year will also witness selling 60 companies for strategic investors as well as raising for sale the remaining categories of the holding companies which were privatized in the previous year."
Ebeid said, "Ownership was expanded in 91 governmental companies since the Egyptian government started the privatization policy in 1993.
