Mubarak to visit Washington next month

In a statement issued on Wednesday in Cairo, Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak said he will visit the US at the end of June. In a statement to the Egyptian daily al-Goumureyah, the Egyptian president said that during his visit to the US he will meet with US President Bill Clinton and hold talks with him on means of developing bilateral relations and international issues.
Mubarak added that he will at the end of this month head for Morocco in order to chair, together with King Hassan, meetings of the MoroccanEgyptian higher committee.
