Mubarak receives a phone call from the Jordanian king

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak received a phone call tonight from Jordan's King Abdullah Bin Hussein during which they held consultations regarding issues of joint concern before the visit will be paid by King Abdullah to the United States and European countries.

In the same time, the Jordanian king made two phone calls with Sultan Qaboos Bin Said of Oman and Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan al-Nayhan, president of the United Arab Emirates.

Jordanian diplomatic sources said that King Abdullah discussed during the two calls the development of the situation in Iraq and the imposed siege on it and the probability of convening an Arab summit during coming month.

The sources said that the Jordanian king discussed means of supporting the bilateral relations and supporting Jordan financially and making a comprehensive reconciliation as well as ending disputes between Kuwait and Iraq.
