Moroccan-Thai economic cooperation discussed in Rabat

Means to enhance economic cooperation and trade exchanges between Morocco and Thailand were discussed at a meeting in Rabat on Monday between Moroccan secretary of state in charge of handicraft, Hassan Maaouni, and Morocco's honorary consul in Thailand, Chira Ratanarat.
The two sides discussed the investment opportunities provided by the two countries and Ratanarat proposed that a Thai small handicraft unit be transferred to Morocco as a pilot experience.
The honorary consul said this experience will enable to assess the impact of such a transfer and show if the macro and micro-economic mechanisms existing both in Morocco and Thailand are likely to increase the flow of humans, capital and products between the two countries.
