Jordanian King confers with Israel's Barak

King Abdullah Bin Hussein of Jordan on Tuesday in Amman received the chairman of the Israeli Labor Party, Ehud Barak, who is a candidate for Israeli prime minister in Israel's May 17 elections.
Well-informed Jordanian sources said that talks between the two sides centered on means of revitalizing the peace process on all negotiation tracks in order to reach a just and comprehensive peace.
During the meeting, Barak stressed his party's commitment to carrying out agreements and reactivating the peace process on all tracks. Last week, the Jordanian king met with the chief of the Israeli al-Wasat (centrist) movement, Yitzhak Mordechai.
