Eritrean president concludes talks in Sanaa

Eritrean President Assyas Afworki left Sanaa on Monday following two-day talks with Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh centered on means of settling the current disputes between Eritrea and Ethiopia.
Afworki said that President Saleh continues his contacts to find an outlet for this conflict. He noted that Yemen's participation in settling the disputes is a good attempt to find a stable and secure atmosphere in this region.
For his part, President Ali Abdullah Saleh announced that his country is concerned with halting the war between Eritrea and Ethiopia and establishing peace between the two countries.
He added that Yemen is ready to mediate in order to support all efforts aiming at bringing viewpoints together between the two countries.
