New museum for Egyptian civilization to cost 90 million pounds

The Egyptian Ministry of Culture Farouk Hosni decided to begin executive measures to establish a museum for Egyptian civilization in October after a halt that lasted for 15 years due to the lack of necessary financing for this project, which is to cost 90 million pounds. He told ArabicNews.com that 25 million pounds were specified for the first stage of implementing the project, lasting for 4 years. The museum comprises areas for the prehistoric ages, as well as the Coptic and Islamic ages and the modern era, in addition to a garden that will be built around the museum containing trees from over the world and areas for information renovation, library, cinema, video and conference halls.
