$2.7 billion expected in Lebanese investments in Egypt in three years

Badran Kamal, head of the Egyptian - Lebanese Business Association, expected an increase in Lebanese direct investment in Egypt to $2.7 billion during the coming three years in comparison to $880 million currently. Badran also commented on the successful visit of a Lebanese delegation to Egypt, which included 14 businessmen under the chairmanship of Jacques Saraf, head of the Lebanese Industrial Union.
He said the visit witnessed a strong comprehension and approach among the Egyptian and Lebanese businessmen and that joint projects were agreed upon in the meeting in the fields of manufacturing cosmetics, pipes and aluminum.
