King Hassan sends message to Tunisian president
Morocco-Tunisia, Politics, 5/4/1999

King Hassan II has sent president Zine El-Abidine Ben Ali of Tunisia a message related mainly to the follow-up of the official visit Ben Ali paid to Morocco last March 15-16.

The message was conveyed to the Tunisian head of state by the sovereign's special envoy, Tayeb Fassi Fihri, who is charge de mission at the royal office.

The royal envoy told reporters that the message was mainly related to the important official visit President Ben Ali paid to Morocco. A visit, he said, that "gave and will give a new momentum to bilateral relations" and that "testifies to the importance of political consultation at the highest level between the two countries, in a bid to make a big stride in matters of exchange of viewpoints on issues of common concern."
