One Israeli soldier killed in south Lebanon

The Lebanese resistance on Monday attacked the Israeli occupation position in Sujoud inside the occupied part of south Lebanon. Lebanese resistance sources said one of its groups attacked Israeli movements in the position at 6 a.m. Monday. Direct hits were achieved.

Meanwhile, Lebanese security sources on Monday confimed the killing of one Israeli soldier, while another soldier was reported to be injured following a confrontation which took place with the Israeli side in the occupied part of south Lebanon.

The Lebanese sources said that members of the Lebanese resistance on Monday bombarded the Israeli occupation forces on the outskirts of the western sector on the coastal road.

Monday's incident raised to 25 the number of the Israeli soldiers injured in south Lebanon combating since the beginning of the year. Nine Israeli soldiers have been killed in the same period.

Further reports from south Lebanon said that the Israeli occupation forces on Monday bombarded the outskirts of al-Mansouri and Majdal Zoun towns, al-Butoum mountains, Zibqin and the area located between Henyewh and Qala.

Further reports from south Lebanon said the Israeli bombardment targeted the woods of Sujoud, al-Rayhan, Aqmata farm, the outskirts of Lweiseh, Meifdoun and Shawkin and the Habboush river area.
