Ethiopia-Eritrea, Politics, 5/4/1999
The president of Burkina Faso will during this week visit Ethiopia and Eritrea in an attempt to end the border disputes between the two neighboring countries.
Officials in Addis Ababa said in statements to reporters that the president of Burkina Faso, whose country is currently presiding over the Organization of the African Unity will play the role of the mediator between the two countries on means of implementing the peace plan proposed by the organization and signed by the two sides but each side explains it differently.
