Arafat heads to Denmark

Palestinian President Yasser Arafat headed today to Denmark, where he and Danish Prime Minister Poul Nyrup Rasmussen will hold talks on the Middle East peace process, and where he will meet with Minister of Developmental Aid Poul Nielsen.
Meanwhile, the Palestinian chief negotiator Saeb Erekat met yesterday with Israeli Minister of Internal Security Avigdor Kahalani, where they will discuss number of issues specifically the issue of closing Palestinian offices in the Orient House in Jerusalem.
Moreover the Palestinian and Israeli ministers will discuss the Israeli elections on May 17 and the importance of the neutrality of the Palestinian leadership and the Palestinians' refusal to intervene, directly or indirectly, in the elections.
