French warship to anchor at Beirut's port

The French warship "Comondan Diu Sweing" is to arrive in Beirut port on May 5 in a five-day official visit to Lebanon. A statement by the French embassy in Beirut said on Friday that the visit of the French warship falls in the course of strengthening friendship ties between Lebanon and France.
The French warship will, during the visit, open its doors to the Lebanese public for three days, while its crew will visit Lebanese archaeological sites.
