PA official calls for normal relations with Syria

The secretary general of the Palestinian Authority Presidium al-Tayeb Abdul Rahim has called for restoring Syrian relations to normalcy with the Palestinian Authority following the Syrian -Jordanian reconciliation.
Sawt Phalastine (Voice of Palestine) radio added that Abdul Rahim also called in a speech he gave on behalf of Yasser Arafat in an inauguration ceremony for the PA guards and called upon Iran to recognize the Palestinian Authority and its leadership.
