On Jordanian prisoners in the Arab states

Jordanian Minister of the Interior Nayef al-Qadi has stressed that the Jordanian government will spare no efforts in order to settle the question of the Jordanian prisoners in Syrian jails.
He added that "the Syrian sisterly authorities have shown great cooperation and understanding for this matter during the recent visit by King Abdullah to Syria."
The minister's statement was expressed during a meeting heard by the public freedom committee of the Jordanian Parliament on Sunday. The committee also discussed the issue of Jordanian prisoners in Egypt, where five are held.
