Iraqi concern over Iranian weapon arsenal

The Iraqi daily Babel issued on Sunday expressed the concern of the Iraqi government over the Iranian government's building of a large military arsenal. The paper said, "Iran's interest in the meantime, lies in maintaining balanced relations with its neighbors."
Iranian-Iraqi relations have witnesses an era of tensions following the assassination of a prominent Shiite scholar, Muhammad Sadeq al-Sader, in Iraq on February 19 as well as after the Iranian opposition Mujahidin Khalq organization assassinated one of the main leaders of the Iranian army in April.
