27 Algerian gunmen surrender

The Algerian daily al-Khabar said that some 27 gunmen have surrendered themselves to security forces in Chlef district. The paper said there are still 40 armed men in the area who still in miserable living conditions as a result of a shortage of foodstuffs and the siege imposed by the army, who destroyed the gunmen's shelters.
The paper added that the army arrested one armed group member in Tissemsilt district.
