Jospin shortens visit to Cairo because of Kosovo

Sources in the French embassy in Cairo said that France has decided to shorten the work program of the visit by French Prime Minister Lionel Jospin to Cairo, which starts tomorrow, to two days instead of three.
The sources related the reasons of shortening the visit's program to Jospin's preoccupation with the Kosovo crisis which requires his early return to Paris.
The sources said Jospin will sign commercial agreements with the Egyptian government on Sunday before leaving Cairo on the same day, returning to Paris.
