Egyptian - Indian partnership agreement signed

The new Egyptian - Indian commercial partnership agreement was signed with initial letters between the two countries.
Egyptian Minister of Trade Ahmed Goweili signed the agreement for the Egyptian side, while An Rany, undersecretary of the Indian Ministry of Commerce, signed for India.
A press statement issued by the Indian embassy in Cairo said that items of the agreement include means of developing commercial exchange between the two countries and overcoming obstacles currently existing to commercial exchange.
The statement added that the agreement also includes exchanges of data regarding the two markets' needs, commercial missions and exhibitions and encouraging and developing joint investments between the two countries.
The statement also said that India is considered one of Egypt's main partners in Asia and that there are economic agreements signed between the two countries for nearly 50 years.
