Upgrading Marian tree region in Cairo

The Supreme Council for Antiquities in Egypt has finished drafting a plan to upgrade the Marian tree region located in the El-Zayton area in Cairo, which is considered one of the most important tourist sites in Egypt.

This upgrade is aimed at the celebration of the third millenium and Egypt's preparations to receive tourist groups visiting Egypt on this occasion.

The upgrade includes the presentation of icons and decoration of the site with a group of small stones in light of the region's cleanliness and ornaments, as well as umbrellas to protecting the antiquities in the region and the installation of a new suitable lighting system in the place so it can receive the expected tourists flow at this tourists site, with which the Christians concern all over the world.
