Jordanian, French chambers maintain cooperation

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Paris on Thursday signed in Amman a cooperation agreement with the Jordanian Trade Chambers Federation. The agreement states "to exchange information of concern to the companies in the two countries and trade and industrial cooperation."
The agreement was signed by the chairman of the Chamber of Trade and Industry in Paris, Michael Franc, and the chairman of the Jordanian Trade Chambers Federation, Haidar Mahmoud.
In a statement following the signing ceremony, Franc said that signing this agreement testifies "the care and backing we intend to give towards strengthening relations between Jordan and France." He added that France is the second donor country to Jordan and that 30 of the main French companies have branches in Jordan.
