Livestock disease controlled in Morocco

The isolated cases of livestock Foot and Mouth disease (MFD), which were reported lately in Morocco, has been controlled thanks to the nationwide vaccination campaign launched last February.
"About 114 MFD cases were reported in Morocco's central and north-eastern region," Moroccan agriculture minister, Habib El Malki, told on Wednesday Mps, affirming that the vaccination campaign has enabled Morocco to immunize over one million bovines.
The efforts will be carried on to protect all cattle, the Moroccan official added.
