Bahrain to fight terrorism
Bahrain, Politics, 4/29/1999
Bahraini dailies issued on Monday said that Bahrain will enact tougher laws in fighting terrorism and those who carry out aggressions that have been launched in the country for more than five years.
AFP said the Gulf Daily News reported that the Bahraini government is now searching for a draft law calling for forcing these who commit the attacks to pay the cost of damage resulting from their aggressions.
In October 1998, the Bahraini authorities announced that a terrorism draft law under discussion calls for life prison sentences for people who are convicted of importing, using, or manufacturing weapons, explosives and ammunition.
